Artifact obtained by upgrading the Experimental Chakram.
The Immaculate's Refuge contains a strange green vortex that can be interacted with if the Experimental Chakram is equipped, transporting the character to a random location in Caldera. The vortex will disappear from the dungeon and appear in a random location in the North East quadrant of Caldera. Interacting with it three more times will yield the awakened artifact - Distorted Experiment. Be aware that the final vortex will return the player character to the original vortex location, which is rife with sulphuric poison.
Entering and exiting a dungeon will cause the position of portals to move and can be useful for finding them.
