Dialogue

(#0) Adalbert the Hermit: A visitor! The Cabal shares its wisdom with those who respect the Five Winds. Reason, Passion, Fury, Kindness and the Inside Wind. (→ #1)

(#1) Adalbert the Hermit: To use the spells I teach, find the Wind Totems in every region. Then, you may use these spells in that region. The totems are topped by a bird statue, you’ll recognize them. (→ #2)

(#2) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: I want to train with you. (→ end)
  • 1: Do you know a Mage named Balira? I'm looking for her husband. (→ #3)
  • 2: I’m leaving. (→ end)

(#3) Adalbert the Hermit: I know her, she was an apprentice of mine. Then, she twisted the gifts of the Five Winds to perform forbidden and horrible magic. Manipulating a person's Inside Wind, no matter the reason, is a violation of a person's most sacred boundary. (→ #4)

(#4) Adalbert the Hermit: I told her she was never to come here again after what she did. And yet... although I cannot forgive her sacrilege, it's time to set aside this tragedy. (→ #5)

(#5) Adalbert the Hermit: The man... or rather, what's left of the man you're looking for is hiding in the old broken tombs within this valley. He, or rather, "it" lives in the frozen cavern at the mouth of it. Put an end to its misery, and break their connection. (→ end)
