Dialogue

(#0) Balira: Begone, we have no further business. (→ end)

(#1) Balira: You’re not one of my warriors... You’re from Ciezo, I can tell. Make your case quickly, before I decide to have you locked up with the others! (→ #2)

(#2) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: I want you to call off your war against Cierzo. (→ #3)
  • 1: I'm here to kill you. (→ #14)
  • 2: I'm just passing by. (→ #15)

(#3) Balira: I can sense my late husband's Mana clinging to your very skin, and his monstrous thoughts no longer fill my dreams. Thank you. Tell me, what had happened to him? (→ #4)

(#4) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: He had become a Wendigo. (→ #5)

(#5) Balira: I thought as much. Thank you for ending this nightmare. Cierzo has repaid its debt to me. I no longer have a quarrel with them. (→ end)

(#6) Balira: Why should I do that? Cierzo bears some responsibility for what happened to me. Although... there is one thing you can do that could make me reconsider. I need you to kill someone for me. My former husband. (→ #7)

(#7) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Go on. (→ #8)
  • 1: I’m not killing a man I don’t know. (→ #15)

(#8) Balira: My mother arranged our marriage when I was young, she said it would benefit both our own tribe and Cierzo. He was... cruel when no one looked, and seemed incapable of realizing the harm he caused. In an attempt to make him understand, I tried something drastic. (→ #9)

(#9) Balira: I used magic I learned from the Cabal of Winds to twist our Inside Winds, our spirits, together. It only made things worse. He could sense my fear of him, and it drove him mad. He set fire to our home and fled into the night. (→ #10)

(#10) Balira: Because our spirits are still twisted together, if he senses me coming to find him, he will flee from me. I need someone else to put him down and end this horrid bond between us. (→ #11)

(#11) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Where do I start looking? (→ #12)
  • 1: I’m not killing a man I don’t know. (→ #15)

(#12) Balira: The bastard’s hiding in the Chersonese, in the valley beyond Ghost Pass. He’s made his den in the Corrupted Tombs. I can sense cold ice all around him. (→ #13)

(#13) Balira: Track him down and kill him. He's nothing but a monster now, in every sense of the word. His nightmarish thoughts haunt me even now. (→ end)

(#14) Balira: I'd like to see you try. Attack the intruder, men! (→ end)

(#15) Balira: Then you’re a trespasser. Guards! To prison with this one! (→ #16)

(#16) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: I’ll come quietly. (→ end)
  • 1: Not today! (→ end)
