Divine Champion is a Character Build in Outward, created by Sunrise69.

Summary

Divine Champion
Sword and Board elemental glass-cannon build focused on being a goddamn lightning conduit and bursting everything. Everything we do in this build is lightning damage - and we buff it all with Shamanic Resonance. We have slow roll from the backpack, but circumvent that with mobility abilities and a shield for protection.

Full Build Details

  • For armor, The Candle Plate Set has some sweet fashion, but will require the Radiant Wolf Sword from a Legacy Chest.
    • Replace with any armor set with solid resistance and easy on the stamina.
  • Keep a Lexicon on you so you can cast Runic Protection before hard fights.
  • Start fights with infuse light as it is stronger than varnish. Potions are for long fights where you reuse your finishers.
  • Late game enchantments:
    • idk I have vanilla
  • We will stick to Blessed and Rage Boons to buff our magic damage and impact.
  • Sleeping in a Luxury Tent is very important because our stamina is lacking without the Warrior Monk Tree
  • For Faction, The Holy Mission is rather essential for the following quest rewards:
    • The Radiant Wolf Sword is the centerpiece of this build
    • The passive Spiritual Communion for 10% more lightning damage helps a lot.
  • Get all the miscellaneous passives like fitness and armor training to supplement the main build - I won't go into it.
  • Also get the relevant buffs - the ability to grant the blessed buff

Combos

A list of combos that complement each other - you have several so mix them up creatively for varied combat.

  • The short preparation if you accidentally walk into a fight unprepared. Getting caught without mana is deadly so watch out for that.
Quick fight preparation
Blessed (skill).png > Infuse Light.png > Blessed Potion.png

  • Full fight preparation before fighting groups of enemies or elite enemies (When in doubt, rather overprepare and sustain mana between fights with Spark).

  • If facing a difficult enemy plan ahead with a trap, wind sigil and a summoned skeleton. Your lightning burst from luring an enemy onto the sigil is INSANE.

  • Between combat use the following to keep up sustain or increase sweet variety:

Hope someone tries it out!
