Full Build Details

If you want to roleplay Gep the Hero, this is the build for you. We do not use any legacy items in this build, however if u legacy copal armor and orichalcum helmet with the enchantments from another character u get some slight stat buffs.

In reality this is not a high burst/dps build, and has some preparations for you to get started, the most painfull thing is the enchantments. You can do arenas with this build however i advise you to stay far away from arenas with bosses that have high ethereal resistance.


Starting out, Caldera:

The first things we gonna acquire with this build is Gep's Blade. Start out leaving Cierzo with a bunch of travel rations + (as many as fit in ur starter backpack). Talk to burac with a machete in ur hand. Head straight to enmerkar forest to caldera. Get to friendly immaculate's camp located northwest near the funny shaped rocks and specificly ask for storage. This will give you the brigand's Backpack. From here now you wanna search for places where you can find gep's drink and the mysterious long blade u can see the locations here: (https://outward.fandom.com/wiki/Mysterious_Long_Blade). Once you find the mysterious long blade, put it in the survival crafting menu and make it into mysterious blade. With 3 gep drinks and the mysterious blade we can forge Gep's Blade.

In Caldera make sure you pick up enough random loot from chests to net you minimum 830 silver total in ur inventory, loot random trunks or go for some chest runs and stock up ur brigand backpack to the max!


Enmercar Forest, Armor:

Now for the exhausting part but i'd say it can be done rather fast especially since we gotten alot stronger with just achieving geps blade and the brigand's backpack. Essentially almost all our armor can be acquired in Enmerkar forest apart from the tenebrous Boots.

Head back to enmercar and look for yellow cobal there are 9 trees total you can see how they look here, we will need 5: https://outward.fandom.com/wiki/Yellow_Copal

Now we gotta get back to the blacksmith in berg and there's a high chance he will have a black plate helmet for you in stock. If not simply stay at the inn for 3 days and try again untill u get ur helmet. He is also the guy that will make our cobal armor. Remember to learn the mist boon from Cyrill Turnbull inside the blue chamber before you leave the city, and also buy a mining pick!

Now its time to head to abrassar. Here we will start out by going to an abandoned fort that has 3 mana crystals. The fort is found by going straight south. Farm these mana crystals and hope you get 2 hackmanite, if not then do not worry we will come back here later to farm these for the tenebrous boots. But yeah this is how we get the boots they can be crafted by the blacksmith in levant. Reset the terrain outside by sleeping 7 days at the inn. While at Levant remember to learn the Warm boon, rest of the skills here are optional apart from the breakthrough.


Getting Money in Abrassar:

The only thing we are now missing is our skills and enchantments, for the first part we are gonna need some silver! If u are looking for a refreshing way to do this instead of farming horror weapons then we can with our magnificent sword do some insane damage to golems, since they are weak to ethereal damage. Head to the electric lab south of levant. Its the big blue fortress so it will be hard to miss. Head straight in, kill all the golems here and puzzle ur way to the very top with levers(not just the exit you can get above here). You will here Find 3 empowered golems that might seem scary. However put on ur battleface rest up and take them one by one, they fall rather quickly from our sword. Once you have done this, head back inside the electric lab and interact with the big orb. Head back outside through the top part. Now you have unlocked the electric altars in abrassar which all have an ornate chest, setting up our gold farm + at the end of the top part of the electric lab we can find the legendary Werlig Spear. This you can sell for money or keep as a trophy. Now all we gotta do is get to all the 5 ornate chests at all the altars. You can reach them all from the top part of the electric lab. Pick up all the items that look expensive and take them back to levant. If u get too encumbered you can always take another trip! I recommend getting 50 gold bars for this part just for quality of life.


Harmattan part:

From levant, grab the caravan to harmattan. Here you can learn everything you can from the hex mage skill tree. Make sure to learn the Blood Sigil instead of torment, this will come to use if u are planning to do Arenas later in the game, but rarely needed in other parts of the game. Get the free stamina and corruption resistance from the speedster trainer. Learn some mana here aswell, i recommend grabbing 3 points for this build since we only need to buff and infuse and our set puts us at +30% mana costs. Before leaving Harmattan we will need to farm 2x tourmaline, 2x dreamers root and 2x elemental particle ether and 2x purifying quartz. Head to the abandoned storage from the main gate exit of harmattan, then hug the left wall. Kill the Arcane elemental go back to the townclock. Kill everything here and pull the lever that unlocks the gate for the ornate chest that guarantees one tourmaline. Repeat this step untill you have: 2x Elemental particles Ether 3x Tourmaline 3x Purifying quartz

Once you have this roam the antique plateu for 4x dreamers root, they are quite common here. if u need help look them up at the wiki!


Chersonese:

Talk to the Kazite trainer and learn the breakthrough + fire infuse + Gongstrike + his bottom row skills. Get to the Cabal of the wind temple through the ghost pass, Learn the skills from the hermit, make sure to grab shamanic resonance + wind infuse + conjure. Remember to activate the wind altar just outside, From the cabal of the wind temple, get to the far south near the border to enmercar forest, into the voltaic hatchery kill the big lightning crab which will give us 1 elemental particle lightning, which we need 2 of total. Kill the arcane elemental that also has a chance to drop this. We need 2x total so reset the dungeon with 7 days of sleep if the arcane elemental didnt drop you one from the first run.

Before leaving Chersonese Plob down ur alchemy kit and craft 4x pale beauty incense from : 2x dreamer root + Elemental particle Ether 4x Admiral incense from: 2x dreamer root + Elemental particle Lightning

Now craft 2 batches Syplhina incense from the recipe: 1x Purifying quartz 1x pale beauty incense, 1 tourmaline, 1 ether particle Craft one batch of Luna incense from: 1x Purifying quartz 1x admiral incense, 1 tourmaline, 1 light particle

We now have our incenses ready for enchanting. But we need some prerequisites to be met, head to berg in enmercar forest, activate the wind pillar which is up top inside berg. Buy the enchanting table + 3x pillars and head just outside of berg. Find an open area and look up the pillar placements for the enchantments.


A true hero's shield, The last missing piece!

Now we gotta find the fabolous palladium shield. For this you will need: 1x tiny aquamarine 1x Small Sapphire 1x Medium Ruby 1x Hackmanite 1x Large Emerald

I trust you enough to be able to net these on ur own. Once you have these head to Under island in Hallowed Marsh

Combo's and gameplay

Try to always stay tired for max damage output. For bosses you can eat a poutine to get urself very tired! Gep is a tireless knight that always is ready to rescue any traveler in need!

Since we are going Blue chamber for this build, we also get access to blood infuse, after building the blue chapel in New Sirrocco, This gives us a lategame imbue that is quite overpowered, we use this to both heal in combat(from our explosions wuhuu!). This allows us to take on any arena with ease(apart from the ethereal resistant ones, doable but hard!).
