Full Build Details

This is a close, personal and hopefully sneaky build that is capable of dealing massive amounts of damage and impact to unsuspecting targets, and capable of keeping even more formidable foes helpless.

Your primary attack for most foes in the game is Backstab because, yes, you're actually taking Stealth Training instead of Pressure Plate Expertise (just do it). Even without any additional stealth from potions or sleeping, most enemies will completely miss you - hell son, you'll even struggle to pick up fireflies - and that means an easy base 120 damage (60phys/fire) with the Lady's dagger... and we're gonna boost it.

And slap a quick Scorch Hex on to drop their resists by 25%, you're in business.

Unless it's a Burning Man or a boss, it's likely dead on your opening Backstab, and it won't be your only one in a longer fight. Using the Maelstrom Blade's natural ability to cause quick Confusion, Sweep Kick will drop your foe and allow you to quickly circle for another Backstab - with max Alertness from Probe, that's a Backstab every 9 seconds, plus the Pain of too many probes allowing Opportunist Stab to readily reach it's own full 4x damage potential. Serpent's Parry will Stun if your foe is Confused, setting them up for... another Backstab.

Use your dodge rolls and don't be too aggressive, as you're still a squishy shanker. If there are larger groups of enemies and you don't think you can Backstab your way up the line, drop a Sigil of Fire and start sending boosted Fireballs into the weaker enemies to quickly reduce it to the 1v1 you'll love to abuse.

Edit: quit trying to fix things that aren't your builds, whomever it is. I picked some things for QoL, not maximizing damage at the expense of overall effectiveness. If you want to tweak YOUR playthrough, by all means, but respect the work of others.
