Full Build Details

The bread and butter for this build is to knock people off balance with either runic trap, mana push, or backstab, and then spam dagger slash while their stability bar is below 50%. Against tough enemies you'll need to open up with cannon pistol for that confusion hex, otherwise you won't be able to knock them off balance. Impact buffs from rage, warrior elixir, and armor enchantments on top of that will make sure you can always knock people off balance with your spells.

Early game you'll need to find different means to accomplish staggering your opponent. Push kick is good enough very early on. Make cloth knuckles before leaving cierzo and put them on when you get your skill from burac, so you can get the enrage skill. Getting your hands on a brutal club will be useful too. Once you have mana, mana push will be invaluable. I try to get spellblade's awakening and infuse skill asap. Frost infusion is my preference since so few enemies have cold resistance and slow debuff is really nice for this build. The light from your infusion also doesn't contribute to enemies detecting you, allowing you to explore dark places and see and still be stealthy.

The build becomes more defined once you max out the rune sage tree. You need the internalized lexicon so you can cast rune trap while holding dagger. By this time make sure you have lots of mana, I put 6 points in and that worked fine. Tired condition is useful but not necessary if you have good mana foods. At this point your main hand weapon is just for show, so I seek out one that gives mana cost reduction.

Make sure to get your hands on a cannon pistol when you go to levant for rogue engineer. Feather dodge is extremely important for this build since you're not gonna have your weapon drawn 99% of the time. Stealth and a parry on top of that ensures you have an edge in all of your engagements.

Late game, rascal's verve enchant is invaluable for that +30% impact. This ensures you'll be able to knock even the toughest bosses off balance with rune trap. Just make sure to collect ether particles and tourmaline throughout your playthrough. If you're really lucky you'll get purifying quartz early. There are 2 ether elementals in chersonese, one in heroic kingdom conflux path, other in blue chamber conflux path, make sure to farm these every time you go through chersonese.

What backpack/tent you use is optional. Mage's tent is optimal for mana management but you can probably make due without. Zhorn's hunting pack on the other hand is optimal for stamina management, but stamina management is even less of an issue.
