The Night Crawler Quite powerfull and versatile build mixing sneaky long range attacks (Hex) and offensive/defensive-retreat mid range attacks (runes), with the ability to regen health and mana (runes) after combat (see description). Melee attacks are just there to finish the opponent with style. A real Night Crawler ...

Full Build Details
As an introduction , I use a controller and the quickslots shown above when using a keyboard and mouse, match my controller setup. So use keyboard and mouse to assign the quickslots as above , then you will be ready to use your controller ;)
This build is quite versatile and can defeat big bosses . This build is not a Tank but a mix of very powerful long range sneaky curses : Hex Mage , mid range offensive or defensive moves : Rune Sage , with melee attacks to finish the ennemies : Kazite Spellblade . Be sneaky, evade, dodge then strike back !!!
I use the following Tier 3 skills :
- HEX MAGE : Rupture : : Lockwell's Revelation
- RUNE SAGE : Well of Mana : : Internalized Lexicon
- KAZITE SPELLBLADE : Infuse Frost : : Elemental Discharge
Self healing then become easier while you will not depend anymore on Health potions . Using Rune magic to heal you will drain your Mana but you can regen it by bying : Reveal Soul at the Cabal Hermit . To use it, thanks to the Bandits, you just need to be close the a dead Bandit s body, then use the reveal Soul spell , a blue Orb will appear, and being very close to it , use : Spark -> your Mana will regen big time.
Feel free to take any tier 1 skills as your wishes will command you :)
Depending on the mood : defensive Vs offensive, I change only 2 quick slots :
- defensive : Shield Charge item : Fabulous Palladium Shield
- sneaky : Backstab / Opportunist Stab item : Red Lady's Dagger
I want to break free, so I use an armor set wich is able to give good balanced protection against physical and magic attacks while giving you physical and magic damage bonuses as allowing you to move quite fast .

Some of the important items you need are ...
Knowing your enemy weaknesses will make you change your one hand weapon. So try to fetch then from hidden mini Bosses while they are one of the most powerful vs speed weapons. For my build I only used one hand weapons :
- cold : Skycrown Mace
- fire : Sunfall Axe
- ethearal : Living Wood Axe
- lightbolts : Radiant Wolf Sword
- lightbolts+poison : Butcher Cleaver
- impact+curses : Cerulean Sabre ( with Rainbow Hex enchantment )
