Full Build Details
This is a starter build intended to get you mostly combat effective without having to make any impactful decisions. Primarily, with this gear you have some decent armor and about 30% more physical damage bonus from that armor.
The main concept of this build is to squeeze as much damage out of starter gear and reduce the risk of getting hit. You want to open up battles with a pistol to either apply status effects or knock down (cannon pistol), whichever is most important given the target you are up against. Since you can dodge roll without impediment, the next thing you want to do is get in and use the dagger to get the poison DoT on and then nickel-n-dime with the main hand weapon as you get the opportunity. Once you've got burning, bleeding and poison DoTs on target just dance around and wait for them to drop.
To get the most out of this build you'll want to de-craft many of the trash loot weapons you find to keep up your stock of iron scraps to use for shatter bullet.
Note: An additional 15% dmg bonus can be had by getting the Brigand's Backpack which is part of The Three Brothers DLC and requires venturing into some potentially dangerous territory.
Note: Any one handed "Fang" weapon will inflict bleeding so if you prefer to use a sword or an Axe then this won't be an issue.
