Initial Message

Blue Chamber

(#0) Courier: Greetings [PlayerName] Aberdeen. This letter is for your eyes only, Rissa’s orders. (→ #1)

(#1) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Why’s Rissa sending a messenger and not talking to me in person? (→ #2)

(#2) Courier: I don’t know. She said to say that “the eyes of our great enemy are on us. We must act with great caution”, and told me you’d know what that meant. (→ #3)

(#3) Courier: There’s two letters for you, here’s the first one. I’ll be over here if you need anything. (→ #4)

(#4) Rissa’s Letter: [PlayerName], I hope this letter finds you well. I apologize for this secrecy, but a recent incident reeks of the fiery influence of the Scarlet Lady. The less openly we speak of the details, the safer I believe we will be. (→ #5)

(#5) Rissa’s Letter: During the end of the war between the Collective and Levant, the Three Brothers, the three volcanoes near the city of Sirocco, suffered a tremendous seismic shift that caused grave damage to the city. (→ #6)

(#6) Rissa’s Letter: The damage to Sirocco is far worse than initially suspected. There are reports that the city itself has collapsed into the ground. A total reconstruction may be needed for civilization in the region to survive. (→ #7)

(#7) Rissa’s Letter: Worse still, we have not received word from their Chamberlord and his Nobles since the incident. I fear the worst for them. If any of the city’s leadership has survived, give them the second letter the messenger has for you. (→ #8)

(#8) Rissa’s Letter: I have convinced the other Chamberlords that immediate action must be taken to aid the city, and they have contributed the resources they can afford to spare. For the duration of your mission, you represent the Blue Chamber Collective. Act accordingly. (→ #9)

(#9) Rissa’s Letter: Several wagons of food and construction materials are being prepared to make the journey to the Caldera. Inform the leaders of the city as soon as possible that aid is on the way. From there, manage the situation as best you can. (→ #10)

(#10) Rissa’s Letter: Sirocco is an incredibly valuable city, regardless of their isolation. Do anything it takes to ensure the future of its people and the stability of the region. (→ #11)

(#11) Rissa’s Letter: The Ancestral Memories predict that the Caldera region is about to endure extreme unrest and danger. Be prepared for anything, [PlayerName]. May your ancestors guide you. (→ #12)

(#12) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Looks like I’m headed for the Caldera region. Apparently there’s a second letter? (→ #13)

(#13) Courier: Yes, right here. I was told you would know who it’s for. Ensure it gets to them safely, [PlayerName]. (→ #14)

(#14) Courier: If you’re headed into the Caldera...Prepare yourself as best you can. It’s an incredibly hostile region. I’ve encountered several creatures there that have learned how to penetrate even the most resistant armor. (→ #15)

(#15) Courier: In fact, just about everything out there is capable of inflicting some kind of horrible affliction that you won’t have ever seen before. Be ready for anything. (→ end)

Holy Mission

(#16) Courier: Greetings, Champion! Lockwell sent a letter for you. (→ #17)

(#17) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Lockwell?! What in Elatt’s name does he want me for? (→ #18)

(#18) Courier: He didn’t look happy about it. But apparently someone convinced him you were the best one for this job. (→ #19)

(#19) Courier: There’s two letters for you, here’s the first one. I’ll be over here if you need anything. (→ #20)

(#20) Damian’s Letter: I am less than pleased to assign this task to a member of the Holy Mission, least of all you in particular, but I require someone with both status and strength. After much discussion, I have been convinced that you are our best option. (→ #21)

(#21) Damian’s Letter: During the end of the war between the Collective and Levant, the Three Brothers, the three volcanoes near the city of Sirocco, suffered a tremendous seismic shift that caused grave damage to the city. (→ #22)

(#26) Damian’s Letter: For the duration of this mission you will answer directly to me, not to Elatt. He has agreed to this condition, and will leave this in our hands. Sirocco must remain an independent tribe in the Blue Chamber Collective, not become subservient to the Holy Mission. (→ #27)

(#27) Damian’s Letter: Taleron has urged me to trust your capability and your judgment in this matter. Do not make him a liar. (→ #12)

(#28) Courier: Greetings, Templar. Lockwell sent a letter for you. (→ #17)

End-game letter

(#0) Courier: It’s been some time, [PlayerName], how’ve you been? I’ve got another letter for you! Here you go! (→ #1)

Blue Chamber

(#1) Rissa’s Letter: Dear [PlayerName], I am most impressed with your efforts. You helped renew civilization in the Caldera, and put an end to another of our great enemy’s plots. I couldn’t be more proud of who you have become. (→ #2)

(#2) Rissa’s Letter: You have come far from your humble origins, and have proved yourself worthy of the Aberdeen name. If you wish to remain in New Sirocco for now, please do so. I trust you will continue to lead it to great success. (→ end)

Holy Mission

(#3) Damian’s Letter: [PlayerName], consider yourself fortunate that my initial letter and your replacement was delayed. I asked you to assist the leadership of Sirocco, not the Workers. And yet...Against all odds, this appears to have been the correct course of action. (→ #4)

(#4) Damian’s Letter: Not only did you manage to secure a new settlement for the citizens without them taking over our rightful land, but you exposed the absolute depravity of their Nobles and ensured they faced proper justice for their crimes. (→ #5)

(#5) Damian’s Letter: While perhaps this is not the result I wished for, it is one I am quite content to accept. Taleron and Elatt were right, you may indeed have been the best choice for this mission. Don’t let that go to your head. (→ end)

Heroic Kingdom

(#6) Kirouac’s Letter: [PlayerName], Calixa just gave us the news. Your actions in the Caldera were indeed nothing less than heroic. I find myself ashamed that we did not realize the severity of the situation sooner. This should have been done years ago. (→ #7)

(#7) Kirouac’s Letter: Calixa bids me tell you that you are free to remain in New Sirocco if you wish. You have more than earned your rest, and your presence there may help us mend the harm that Levant’s inaction has caused to both of our cities. (→ end)

Sorobor Academy

(#8) Sekiguchi Meiko’s Letter: Well done, [PlayerName]! I wholeheartedly approve of your course of actions. Choosing to support the Workers over the fractured but powerful Nobles was a VERY bold move. (→ #9)

(#9) Sekiguchi Meiko’s Letter: I believe you have just secured us a great deal of loyalty in New Sirocco, loyalty we can leverage. And frankly, while the loss of the Noble’s deep pockets does sting, I find myself considerably more comfortable with this new status quo. (→ #10)

(#10) Sekiguchi Meiko’s Letter: Feel free to remain in New Sirocco if it pleases you. I trust you will be able to lead it to even loftier heights. (→ end)

All

(#11) Courier: Take care, traveller. It’s not safe out there. (→ end)
