General Dialogue

(#0) Grand Innkeeper: Come in. Have a drink! Put your feet up and enjoy the endless festivities of the Heroic Kingdom! (→ #1)

(#1) Grand Innkeeper: Welcome to my inn! What can I do for you? (→ #2)

(#2) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: I want a room, please. (→ #3)
  • 1: I’d like to talk. (→ end)
  • 2: I’m leaving. (→ #19)

(#3) Grand Innkeeper: You’ve already rented a room for the day! Go ahead and use it. (→ end)

(#4) Grand Innkeeper: Of course! Renting a bed costs 25 silver. (→ #5)

(#5) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Deal, here’s your money. (→ #6)
  • 1: Not now. (→ #8)

(#6) Grand Innkeeper: Your room is up the stairs, look for the open door. Sleep well! (→ end)

(#7) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, you don't have enough silver to stay here. Come back when you can afford it! (→ end)

(#8) Grand Innkeeper: See you soon! (→ end)

(#9) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, I haven’t heard any news recently. I’ll keep my ears open, though. (→ end)

(#10) Grand Innkeeper: You’re planning to become a Citizen of Levant, aren’t you, traveller? You’ve come at a difficult time. The slums are packed to bursting with new people, and we’re dealing with increasing bandit raids. I fear one more crisis will topple this entire house of cards! (→ #11)

(#11) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: I’m looking to join the Blue Chamber Collective, how do I get there from here? (→ #12)
  • 1: I’m looking to Join the Holy Mission, how do I get there? (→ #14)
  • 2: Farewell. (→ end)

(#12) Grand Innkeeper: To leave Abrassar desert, head as west as you can go. There’s an oasis not far from the road out of here where you can resupply your water, and maybe some berries, if you’re lucky. (→ #13)

(#13) Grand Innkeeper: Once you reach Enmerkar, head north and then west, and take a bridge across the lake. Look for a city with stone walls built into the mountainside. That’s Berg, home of the Blue Chamber Collective. (→ end)

(#14) Grand Innkeeper: To leave Abrassar desert, head as west as you can go. There’s an oasis not far from the road out of here where you can resupply your water, and maybe some berries, if you’re lucky. (→ #15)

(#15) Grand Innkeeper: In Enmerkar, go straight north. If you see the lake, you’re going the wrong way. Just go as north as you can, until you pass under a little stone arch, and then keep going until you reach the Hallowed Marsh. (→ #16)

(#16) Grand Innkeeper: Unfortunately, there is no Pilgrim Road you can follow in the Hallowed Marsh from Enmerkar. You’ll have to manage on your own, following the Light Ray above Monsoon in the north until you reach the city. (→ #17)

(#17) Grand Innkeeper: Worse still, the Light Mender Lich has gotten very territorial. Getting past his Spire in the south may be very dangerous, unless you bypass it via the old flooded Ziggurat Tunnel. If this sounds too nasty for you, try getting there from the Chersonese. (→ end)

(#18) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, I haven’t heard any news recently. I’ll keep my ears open, though. (→ end)

(#19) Grand Innkeeper: Travel safely! (→ end)

(#20) Grand Innkeeper: Of course! Renting a bed costs 25 silver. (→ #21)

(#21) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Deal, here’s your money. (→ #22)
  • 1: Not now. (→ #24)

(#22) Grand Innkeeper: Your room is up the stairs, look for the open door. Sleep well! (→ end)

(#23) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, you don't have enough silver to stay here. Come back when you can afford it! (→ end)

(#24) Grand Innkeeper: See you soon! (→ end)

Blue Chamber quests

(#0) Grand Innkeeper: Is it true that Monsoon was attacked by the Scourge, and that Calixa is a goddess now? We live in strange times indeed! (→ end)

(#1) Grand Innkeeper: I can’t believe this war is coming to a close so suddenly! Elatt’s influence is very great indeed... I wonder if these peace talks will work out or not... (→ end)

(#2) Grand Innkeeper: I heard you killed the Green shell horror hiding in Enmerkar’s old temple! I’m very impressed. Not just anyone can take down a Scourge Beast that big. (→ end)

(#3) Grand Innkeeper: You’re headed to the Cabal of Winds Temple to fight that Green shell horror? You’re out of your mind! That place is crawling with the Scourge! If you have to go, don't pick any needless fights. (→ end)

(#4) Grand Innkeeper: Roland? He had a drink here not too long ago. He said he was going to the Conflux Mountain via the Blue Chamber’s path, to become a mage. He seemed really nervous too. I think he would appreciate your help. I don’t know if he could handle the rock mantises in there. (→ end)

(#5) Grand Innkeeper: You’re planning to talk to the Ash Giants? You’re either very brave, or very foolish. The only Giant settlement I know about is the one in the North-East of the Hallowed Marsh. (→ end)

(#6) Grand Innkeeper: I heard a bomb exploded in the Blue Chamber, and strange mercenaries took hostages and damaged the archives! I hope those fiends are brought to justice! (→ end)

(#8) Grand Innkeeper: I heard that the Chamberlords of the Blue Chamber collective are gathering in Berg for an important Council meeting! People are coming all the way from the Sirocco region for this one! (→ end)

(#9) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, I haven’t heard any news recently. I’ll keep my ears open, though. (→ end)

(#7) Grand Innkeeper: I heard a bomb exploded in the Blue Chamber, and strange mercenaries took hostages and damaged the archives! I hope those fiends are brought to justice! (→ #8)

(#8) Grand Innkeeper: Hmmm... Now that I think about it, I’ve heard of a band of people who set up camp somewhere in the burnt forest far to the south in Enmerkar. They must be crazy, that place is crawling with Burning Men! (→ end)

(#9) Grand Innkeeper: Is it true that there was an attempted bomb attack on the Blue Chamber? This is terrible news! I hope they find the ones behind it and make them pay! (→ #8)

(#10) Grand Innkeeper: I heard that the Chamberlords of the Blue Chamber collective are gathering in Berg for an important Council meeting! People are coming all the way from the Sirocco region for this one! (→ end)

(#7) Grand Innkeeper: You need to deal with some corruption in the valley behind the Ghost Pass? Make sure you have lots of supplies and some way to deal with ghosts. Also, stay away from the Montcalm village! They’ll know you’re from Cierzo and kill you! (→ end)

(#8) Grand Innkeeper: Sorry, I haven’t heard any news recently. I’ll keep my ears open, though. (→ end)
