General Dialogue

(#4) Kirouac: Oh, well hello there, traveler. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Heroic Kingdom of Levant. I’m Kirouac. Alchemist, politician, and philosopher. (→ #5)

(#5) Kirouac: I’m the one who convinced King Simeon and Queen Calixa to declare Levant to be a nation outside the Blue Chamber’s laws. Not one of us regrets it. Here, anyone can be free to pursue their dreams without Tribal Laws restricting them! (→ end)

Council Meeting

(#0) Kirouac: I don’t understand why the Collective is even giving the claims of Old Levant any attention. Calixa and Simeon were named rulers of Abrassar desert by Elatt himself. (→ #1)

(#1) Kirouac: Old Levant abandoned Abrassar to the beasts of the Scourge. They have no right to demand to have it back after we did all the hard work of cleansing it of the scourge and re-settling it! (→ end)

Burnt Outpost

(#0) Kirouac: Thank you! These damn criminal scum kidnapped me straight from the Blue Chamber and hauled me here in a sack! (→ #1)

(#1) Kirouac: Here, I have to reward you for this. I’ve got 100 silver on me, and by my Queen you deserve every last one of them! Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to Berg and try to sort this mess out! (→ end)

(#12) Kirouac: Look out! There’s still criminals in here, you dolt! (→ end)

Tending the Flame

(#0) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: There were some mercenaries down there with a bomb. I managed to stop them. (→ #1)

(#1) Kirouac: Oh Elatt’s breath, this is the last thing we need. This could cause a major diplomatic incident! Alright, you go and try to track down where they came from, I’ll try to handle the diplomatic side of things. (→ #2)

(#2) Kirouac: If you don’t have any leads, double check downstairs for evidence, in case you missed something. (→ end)

(#3) Kirouac: That was too much excitement for one lifetime. I'm not going anywhere outside this city ever again, mark my words! (→ #4)

(#4) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Did you manage to convince the Chamberlords that we aren't responsible for the attack? (→ #5)

(#5) Kirouac: I was barely able to get my entourage out of Berg before they declared war on us. There was nothing I could do. (→ end)

(#6) Kirouac: Oh thank the winds, rescue! Thanks for coming! (→ #7)

(#7) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: Kirouac! What happened? (→ #8)

(#8) Kirouac: I don't know. There was an explosion, and then thugs armed to the teeth came pouring out from under the Blue Chamber. They shot the Old Levant ambassador and then grabbed me and stuffed me in a sack! (→ #9)

(#9) Kirouac: Someone's trying to frame us for killing Old Levant’s Ambassador, I’m sure of it. There's no way Calixa or Simeon would have authorized something like this. We need to do something before the Blue Chamber takes this as an act of war! (→ #10)

(#10) Kirouac: I can get back to Berg from here. I need to try to smooth this over before it’s too late! (→ #11)

(#11) Kirouac: Investigate further if you feel you need to. As soon as you’re done though, report back to Cyrene in Levant. I get the feeling Enmerkar might not be safe for any of us… (→ end)

(#12) Kirouac: Hey, [PlayerName], I think Cyrene’s gone. We need her here in case something happens. Can you check Berg’s Inn real quick for her? (→ end)

(#13) Kirouac: I don’t understand why the Collective is even giving the claims of Old Levant any attention. Calixa and Simeon were named rulers of Abrassar desert by Elatt himself. (→ #14)

(#14) Kirouac: Old Levant abandoned Abrassar to the beasts of the Scourge. They have no right to demand to have it back after we did all the hard work of cleansing it of the scourge and re-settling it! (→ #15)

(#15) Kirouac: The doors of the Heroic Kingdom are open to them. They’re welcome to come join us! And yet they spit in our outstretched hand again and again. I don’t understand why they cling to the ghost of their past pride. (→ end)

(#16) Kirouac: Oh, hello, [PlayerName]. How are you doing? (→ end)

Mouths to Feed

(#0) Kirouac: I can’t believe you made this work. I’ll go home with the first Marshmelon delivery. I want to personally make sure your hard work pans out. (→ end)

(#1) Kirouac: Let me know how it goes with the Soroborean merchant, eh, [PlayerName]? I won’t get my hopes up. Laine’s plan is beyond the realm of practicality… (→ end)

(#2) Kirouac: Ah, [PlayerName]! My hero! Good to see you again! I'm glad Calixa sent you to help. (→ #3)

(#3) Kirouac: Laine and I have begun our work. So far, it's not promising. The best option we have is the Marshmelon. If we could transport these to Levant, we would solve our famine overnight. But they dont last long enough to survive the trip. (→ #4)

(#4) Kirouac: Speak with Laine, he'll tell you what we need in order to continue our work. (→ #5)

(#5) Multiple-choice:

  • 0: So, you're an alchemist, Kirouac? (→ #6)

(#6) Kirouac: Yes. But this is proving to be a very tricky problem. Nothing seems to work. Salt is useless, drying Marshmelons just makes them rot faster, cold flames ruin it... I'm at my wit's end, [PlayerName]. (→ end)

(#7) Kirouac: Ah, [PlayerName]! I was expecting you. (→ #3)

(#8) Kirouac: Greetings. I hope you’re well! (→ end)
