General Dialogue

(#0) Balthazar Berthelot: Well, hello. Sorry, I’m still tired, I stayed up poring through the old archives through the night. Every other historian decided to pick up the research in the morning, but I can’t rest until I know I know the full story. (→ end)

Council Meeting

(#0) Balthazar Berthelot: I do not look forward to this meeting. Both issues of the day are ugly indeed. The fate of two tribes in one hand, and a delicate land treaty in another. No one will walk away happy from this. (→ #1)

(#1) Balthazar Berthelot: On days like today, I wish I wasn’t the Collective’s greatest historian. Oh what I wouldn’t give to curl up in the archives and never come out… (→ #2)

(#2) Balthazar Berthelot: Come to think of it, the delegation from Sirroco is running late. They were the ones who were desperate to come to an agreement about settling in the Hallowed Marsh, so I’m shocked they’ve not arrived. (→ #3)

(#3) Balthazar Berthelot: And then there’s Damian Lockwell’s absence. I would be shocked if he was boycotting the meeting...that would only prevent him from protecting the interests of his own region. (→ end)
