Summary

Pirate Bard of the Haunt
A shifty Mercenary that uses ghost drums combined with Gep's Blade to shred enemies. Combines cannon pistol and sweep kick to leave enemies on the ground and manages stamina well so that you don't have to worry about it.

Full Build Details

Low stamina cost + high stamina lets you run, dodge, and attack without managing stamina too much. I wanted to balance physical and ethereal as they are opposite elements of each other and not many enemies resist both. If we are properly buffed( not including consumables) we have +85% physical dmg and +110% ethereal dmg. We also have -50% stamina cost(-90% sprinting) after sleeping in a luxury tent, home or an inn. As for defenses, we are not a tank but we can definitely take a few hits. One big thing to help us with elemental dmg is the skill torment. With our drum applying haunted, we can apply sapped with torment whenever we want, making our enemy do -40٪ elemental dmg.

Our big con here is definitely impact. We don't have very high resistance without being properly buffed. Dodging and sprinting out of the way of attack is our best bet, as opposed to blocking. Luckily, we have the stamina for doing just that.

Combos

Haunting Blast
Haunting Beat.png > Fire and Reload.png

Start out with setting up your drums and shooting a scatter imbued shot to knock the enemy down with the Cannon pistol. Most enemies will die while you're destroying them while they are trying to get up.

Dazzling Flourish
Cannon Pistol.png > Sweep Kick.png

Use sweep kick to knock them on the ground again and continue destroying them.

Seasick
Haunting Beat.png > Cannon Pistol.png > Torment.png > Puncture.png

With the Haunted, Pain, and Confusion debuffs applied, use Torment to apply sapped, and bleeding as well as stagger the enemy. This gives you a chance to reapply pain with puncture. Haunted and Confusion will re-apply themselves.

If the enemy survives this onslaught of skills, then you can move back and do what one-hand swords are best at...tagging. one hit, dodge. Another hit, sprint out the way. Hit your drum to build up charges for etherbomb if need be. Then sweep kick again to start the chain over.
