Effects
The effects vary depending on the Lantern used with the skill. However, all variations will deal 2.65 impact per hit and last for 2.5 seconds, applying the effects once every 100ms (0.1 seconds).
For most lanterns, the "Fire" effects are produced.
Fire (normal)
- Rapidly deals 2.75
Fire damage and 2.65 impact to targets in the effect zone for 2.5 seconds (up to 66 and 63.6 ).
Ethereal
- Works with the Lantern of Souls
- Rapidly deals 1.375
Ethereal damage and 2.65 impact to targets in the effect zone for 2.5 seconds (up to 33 and 63.6 ).
Lightning
- Works with the Coil Lantern, or Virgin Lantern with the Angel Light enchantment
- Rapidly deals 3.16
Lightning damage and 2.65 impact to targets in the effect zone for 2.5 seconds (up to 75.84 and 63.6 ).
Frost
- Works with the Ice-Flame Torch, or a Virgin Lantern with the Blaze Blue enchantment
- Rapidly deals 2.75
Frost damage and 2.65 impact to targets in the effect zone for 2.5 seconds (up to 66 and 63.6 ).
Decay
- Works with a Virgin Lantern with the Sanguine Flame enchantment
- Rapidly deals 2.75
Decay damage and 2.65 impact to targets in the effect zone for 2.5 seconds (up to 66 and 63.6 ).
Rust
- Works with a Virgin Lantern with the Copper Flame Enchantment
- No damage
- Inflicts Extreme Poison (15% buildup)

Can be purchased from the First Watcher in Conflux Chambers for 50 silver.
Notes
- This spell cannot be used with a lantern that is hanging from your backpack, it must be equipped in your off-hand.
