Heroic Peacemaker is the final faction quest for The Heroic Kingdom of Levant in Outward, and seventh in the series of main quests.
Timer
This quest has a timer of 10 days, which begins counting after the Abandoned Docks section with Yzan. Failing to stop the coup in time will potentially make you unable to receive full rewards.
Quest Summary
While you were dealing with Levant's food shortages, the war with the Blue Chamber Collective has continued. Elatt has intervened, demanding peace. While the Blue Chamber and Levant's ruling class have agreed, some of the military including Yzan and Cyrene feel too emotionally invested in the war to let it go, and Calixa fears they may be planning a coup. Martial Law has been declared in the palace, and Calixa tasks you with tracking down Yzan and Cyrene before it is too late, while also dealing with the matters in Monsoon.
Walkthrough
- Report to Queen Calixa in Levant. She asks you to find Cyrene and Yzan, as she fears that they may be plotting a coup against the throne.
- Fine Cyrene and Yzan in the north of Abrassar, where "the boats used to be tied, high and dry."
- Before you leave Levant, it is recommended to obtain a Tripwire Trap and Iron Spikes (or a filled Waterskin if you failed Mouths to Feed)
- Leave Levant, and head to the Abandoned Docks, north of the Parched Shipwrecks.
- Confront Yzan inside dock's storage.
- Enter Dock's Storage, the small building found at the Abandoned Docks.
- To obtain Yzan's Royal Great-Khopesh, choose any dialogue options that are not listed below and defeat him.
- To ally with Yzan, speak to him and choose the following dialogue options:
- 3: "They could have done more if they weren't forced to pour so many resources..."
- 1: "You left Cierzo because of how they forced Roland's problems onto you..."
- 3: "Yzan, Levant is barely surviving. One more crisis will kill us all..."
- 2: "You could just play it like you were a double agent. You're good at that."
- Travel back to Levant
- Head back to Levant, which you will find is now boarded off since Martial Law has been declared.
- Enter Levant's slums
- Around the southern side of the city on the outside is a secret entrance to the Slums, which will be guarded by Markus.
- If you defeated Markus for information during Sand Corsairs, he will let you in.
- If you chose Dawne for information then you will be tasked with defeating the Bandit Leader to the south-east (located at Sand Rose Cave).
- The bandit can be found by heading down the path to the right of the entrance, then taking the next right. He is wearing a Wolf Plate Set, so Ethereal damage is not recommended.
