The Sorobor Academy building is a large tower found in the north-central area of Harmattan, home to many important features and NPCs of the Sorobor Academy faction.
Entrances
- From the Sorobor Academy courtyard in north-central Harmattan.
- From the Forgotten Research Laboratory, through a secret shortcut in a painting near the boss room.
Ground Floor
On the ground floor players will find the main entrance area of the Sorobor Academy. Directly ahead, Jane Vincent, Recruiter awaits at a desk, and she can be spoken to if the player wishes to join the academy as their faction.
Scattered around the ground floor, players will find Desy Laroche and Artois Sutherland, who are new recruits to the academy, as well as Joliette Montgomery, Dean of History in a small room to the right.
There are three other sections players can be transported to from the ground floor area:
- Ley Line chamber (directly ahead)
- Sorobor Library (to the left)
- Turnbull's secret lab (through a trap door, immediately to your left from the entrance)
Ley Line
The Sorobor Ley Line is the highest floor of the academy, and can be used to acquire Mana. The ley line appears to be powered by an enormous mana crystal which sits perched at the top of the tower.
In the ley line area, players will find Ryan Sullivan, Arcanist who sells various Enchanting recipes, Gregory Turnbull, Dean of the Arcane, Ella Lockwell, Master of Cursecraft who teaches the player Hex Mage skills, and The 9th Watcher who will grant the player skills after acquiring mana.
Sorobor Library
The library area is where players will find Hugo Lockwell, Provost of Academic Affairs, as well as Headmaster Raul Salaberry up a flight of stairs.
There is a secret entrance to the Forgotten Research Laboratory through one of the bookshelves in the library, which is unlocked after completion of Rust and Vengeance.
Turnbull's Lab
Turnbull's lab is a secret basement below the ground floor, found by entering the trapdoor immediately to your left from the ground floor entrance. In this room players will find nothing of interest until they progress enough through their Sorobor Academy quest line.
