Summary

Bubble Boy
A build built around tankiness, AOE damage, and Co Op. This build brings a lot of utlity, even for solo. High protection & Barrier, good Resistance, AOE Damage, and Heals. Most of the animations look like big bubbles(1h sword AOE, Nurturing Echos, Rupture), hence the name, Bubble Boy.

Full Build Details

A build that has a lot of AOE damage, some tankiness, and designed around co-op. Uses Geb's Blade for Ethereal AOE damage, Mana Wall Set for Tankiness/Ethereal Damage, Lantern of Souls for increased resistance/Ethereal Flamethrower, and uses both Ritualist Totems and Nurturing Echo for more tankiness and heals. The damage is coming from your 1h sword attacks and rupture.

To get the most out of this build ...

Start with Geb's Blade. You'll likely get to the Ritualist breakthrough last but you'll have plenty of damage to get there.

Place your totems near an enemy, let the totems stack by hitting them, swing away with your sword for the AOE bubble bursts, and Rupture for more AOE bubble damage. Nurturing Echo for health/stam/mana regen bubbles.

Nurturing Echo is great for healing in Co-Op, and produces animations sort of like a bubble, but can easily be switched out for more AOE Damage. Ritualist in a whole is pretty flexible, some people don't like it but it adds protection, hexes, and can block ranged attacks. If you don't like the beat of the drums, or Shamanic Resonance, you can drop it for:

Warrior Monk: A bit more resistance from Motion, and +40 Stamina. Counter is also pretty good. Rogue: Lots of utility here and you can throw down a nerve gas trap for more ethereal damage + confuse/pain. I was originally going to do this instead of the Shaman, but I didn't want to set up drums and traps in co-op for every fight.

The lantern can be dropped for a shield, and flamethrower dropped for shield charge. This would work good with the Fabulous Palladium Shield.

Some of the important items you need are ...

The main item you'll need for this is Geb's Blade which is relatively easy to acquire. Manawall armor will take a bit more time but is easily obtained for a new Legacy Character after getting Barrier Armor. Other than that you're pretty free to choose whatever backpack you think is best. Brigand's is easy to get, though the buff won't do a whole lot here it does a little and won't impede your dodge.
