Rastarte is an NPC located at the Montcalm Clan Fort, in Outward. When available to speak to, he will be found sitting in a throne in a room at the very top of the stairs.
Description
Rastarte is the Chamberlord of the The Montcalm Tribe, a tribe of The Blue Chamber Collective that is now openly hostile towards Cierzo.
Rastarte bears a grudge towards Rissa Aberdeen specifically. If spoken to during Ancestral Peacemaker, Rastarte will claim that Rissa Aberdeen poisoned another member of the Montcalm Clan that Rastarte cared for. The Blue Chamber Collective apparently took no actions to investigate these accusations, but Rastarte firmly believes that Rissa is guilty because he learned this information from the ghosts inhabiting the tunnels nearby (Ghost Pass).
During the same quest, Rissa's gives her side of the story, explaining: "[the] Montcalm tribe still wants my head after I learned the Scarlet Lady had a pawn in their tribe. If Gabriella or I showed our faces there, they'd kill us on the spot. "
Further information about this can be seen in a Lore Letter, from an unknown information of the Blue Chamber to "Headmaster" (presumably Rissa).
Quest Involvement
- Rastarte can only be spoken to for a brief period during Ancestral Peacemaker. At all other times, the bandits inhabiting his fort are hostile.
